Jim Cox, an Atlanta native, graduated from high school in Dunwoody. He attended the University of Georgia and earned a degree in finance with the desire to enter real estate. Several opportunities in corporate sales led him to Columbia, South Carolina and Dallas, Texas before returning home to Atlanta, where he has been in corporate sales for more than 30 years. Jim is finally back on track to pursue his real estate ambitions.
Jim and his wife, Lori, have been residents of Buckhead since returning to Atlanta, beginning with buying a condominium, renovating a home in Peachtree Hills and then later building a home where they have lived the past 23 years. Jim has two grown children, a son and a daughter. He possesses a strong knowledge of Atlanta, its neighborhoods and the school opportunities available. He specializes in Dunwoody, East and West Cobb and also the Intown market, including Buckhead.
Jim serves as a coach in a number of local sporting leagues and also enjoys volunteering at the school his children attended. Currently he is largely involved with his church, serving on a number of committees in leadership capacities.
