Stage:

The fanciful and awe-inspiring Cirque du Soleil returns with “OVO.” It continues through Dec. 19 under the blue and yellow Grand Chapiteau at Atlantic Station.

Stage: “The Second City: Miracle on 1280 Peachtree Street” pokes a little fun at Atlanta and opens on Nov. 5. The show continues through Dec. 12 at the Alliance Theatre.

Stage: Get a head start on the holiday spirit with Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas: The Musical.” Through Nov. 7 at the Fox Theatre.

Stage: Love gets dangerous when a young English teacher gets involved in the personal lives of two of her students in Synchronicity Performance Group’s “The Storytelling Ability of a Boy.” Through Nov. 21 at 7 Stages BackStage Theatre in Little Five Points.

Festival: It’s the first year for the Chastain Park Arts Festival, but organizers are expecting more than 160 artists will show their work. 10 a.m. Nov. 6; 11 a.m. Nov. 7. Stage: Some of the most popular performers from television’s “America’s Got Talent,” including Prince Poppycock,  make their way to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6.

Music: Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will offer their fall concert at 3, 5:30 and 7 p.m. Nov. 7. At the Bailey Performance Center on the campus of Kennesaw State University.

The Mustache Party :8 p.m.-midnight Friday, Nov. 5, outside the High Museum of Art on Sifly Piazza.   1. What a great post, I love the Weekend Best Bets! My kids saw the Cirque du Soleil tents at Atlantic Station the other day and were so mad that I wouldn’t take them to the circus. I had a really hard time explaining that this circus is a little different… Have a great weekend.
