Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, a luxury real estate firm based in Atlanta, GA, today announced that the Sotheby’s International Realty Web site, sothebysrealty.com, soon will be multi-lingual with the addition of seven new languages.
All functional and static information on the Web site were translated into Spanish and Portuguese this month. It also will be translated into French, Italian, German, Russian and traditional Chinese within the next few weeks. Translations will be done by professional translators based in each respective country, not by machine translation methods.

Earlier this month, the web site changed from 800×600 to 1024×768 to allow for more word space and to match how most visitors are viewing the site. in 2008, SothebysRealty.com added a currency conversion to the Web site earlier this year (translates to dozens of currencies). Mentioned was also a redesign of the property search function will be made, taking effect later this year.
