Educated at the University of Virginia, Chuck has an under graduate degree in Civil Engineering. He also earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
Chuck served his country as a U.S. Naval Officer to the Destroyer Escort, U.S.S. Bradley (San Diego, CA). He also served in two combat tours in Vietnam where his duties included being a navigator and Combat Information Center Officer. During his military service, Chuck was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.
Chuck has been involved with many civic organizations and other affiliations including the University of Virginia Alumni Association, he is a Trustee for the Gray/Carrington Foundation, past President of the Kentuckians of Georgia, past Commander of the American Legion Post 134 and a member of the Louisville Country Club.
