Still mourning the end of Oprah Winfrey’s daytime talk show? You may want to mark Oct. 15 on your calendar.
Team Oprah plans a daylong event at the Georgia World Congress Center aimed at readers of “O, The Oprah Magazine.” The event will feature speakers including O-faves Suze Orman, Dr. Mehmet Oz and Nate Berkus.
Winfrey herself is not on the agenda but you never know. (Remember how she made a surprise visit to the Ron Clark Academy graduation last year?)
The event, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (doors open at 7:30 a.m.) is billed as a day of empowerment. “Want to start living your best life now? Who are you meant to be? Are you focused on your passions, dreams and goals? What’s holding you back? Are there obstacles preventing you from living your best life?”
Tickets are $125 per person (tax and service charges not included) and went on sale today. Click here for yours.
