Come and experience the all-new YOGI BEAR 4-D Adventure or climb high up in the trees on Sky Hike, one of the nation’s largest adventure ropes courses, fun for the whole family. Enjoy live entertainment, fireworks and much more.

The all-new Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision can be seen nightly July 2 – 4, immediately followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

Fourth in the Park: Marietta
Come out and celebrate America’s independence a day early as the City of Marietta hosts the 2011 Fourth in the Park celebration beginning on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 10am. The Independence Day celebration begins with the Marietta Freedom Parade that starts at Roswell Street Baptist Church and ends at North Marietta Parkway. After the parade there will be free live concerts and entertainment, museum tours, food, arts and crafts, carnival games, and of course fireworks.

2011 Schedule:

July 4th Star Spangled Beach Party: Callaway Gardens
The celebration begins early and lasts into the night at our annual July 4th Star Spangled Beach Party. We celebrate Independence Day with a day of pure fun. So pack a picnic and sunscreen, round up your friends and family, and head to Callaway Gardens for a spectacular fourth of July!

Downtown Decatur. Decorate a wagon, ride your bike, skate or walk along with the parade that begins at First Baptist Church of Decatur. The Callanwolde Concert Band performs after the parade. Fireworks display at dark.

All-American Celebration

The annual celebration fires up the crowd with patriotic standards, singalong anthems and classical thunder, featuring the U.S. Army Chorus, Rob Fisher, music director of the Tonyhonored Broadway series Encores, and spectacular fireworks.

The celebration will take place on the top floor of the Aquarium parking deck, offering unparalleled views of Atlanta’s most magnificent fireworks display from Centennial Olympic Park.

Proceeds benefit Georgia Aquarium’s education initiatives

4th of July @ Lenox Square Mall
The 4th of July at Lenox Square starts off the fun for the whole family at noon with Kids Zone play area. Live entertainment will start around 6pm. The fireworks will start at 9:30pm.

Fabulous Fourth 2010 @ Mall of Georgia
Mall of Georgia puts out a great celebration with fun, family friendly activities ranging from giant inflatable, kids rides, and Kidgits Fun Run in the morning. Live music starts off the celebration at the Village at 2pm. After the fireworks, if you still have enough energy, hang out for post-firework entertainment and enjoy ‘Transformers’ movie on the jumbo screen.

Alpharetta
For residents of Alpharetta, the City of Alpharetta has planned a great evening full of fun activities for the whole family as we celebrate the Independence Day. Children’s activities including inflatables, face painting, and balloon artist/magician will be located on the Event Lawn behind Alpharetta Community Center from 4pm to 8:30pm. All children’s activities are free of charge! Fireworks will start at dusk.

Cumming
Independence Day Celebration begins on July 3rd at 6:00 p.m. with various vendors including food and drink, inflatables for kids, a live band, wonderful fireworks display along with an all age dance contest following the fireworks. There is no admission or parking fee for the July 3rd celebration! On July 4th come and enjoy the famous Steam Engine Parade beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Parade will include steam engines, antique tractors, antique cars and many other floats decorated in the spirit of the holiday. Following the Steam Engine Parade you can take a closer look at the steam engines, tractors and cars at the Fairgrounds.
