One Sotheby’s International Realty in Miami has listed the Penthouse at Grovenor House, one of Miami’s most exclusive condominiums, for $14.5 million. The firm also is enjoying several recent noteworthy sales. In April, Jorge Uribe represented the buyer and seller on the sale of a $13.5 million home in Miami that belonged to a Dutch movie producer and closed two weeks after being listed, a feat unseen in the current market. The sale represents the highest paid transaction in recent history in Coconut Grove, with the average close for a home of this caliber at close to one year. The firm now has 48 percent market share of home sales more that $1 million in Coconut Grove.
“In addition, we are exclusively representing the W South Beach development,” said Mayi de la Vega, the firm’s owner. “We have closed more than $200 million in sales for the development in the last two years, averaging more than $1,500 a square foot, which is the highest price per square foot in Miami right now. We have seen the real estate market start to take a positive turn and out recent successes reflect that.”
