SETTING: This house is in a mixed-use development called Serenbe within the city of Chattahoochee Hills. According to the listing agent, there are about 200 homes there, set on nearly 1,000 acres; at least 70 percent of that acreage will be preserved. Within the Serenbe community, there are about 12 miles of walking trails, horse stables, a pond, outdoor tennis courts, shops and restaurants. Atlanta is about 45 minutes away.

INSIDE: The house was built in 2007, when Serenbe was developed. The main level has an open floor plan that encompasses a kitchen, a dining area and a living room with a fireplace. The master bedroom, also on the main level, is part of a suite that has a walk-in closet, a sitting area and a bathroom with a separate tub and shower.
