Wildwood is located in the southwestern portion of Buckhead in the area to the west of Howell Mill Road between Collier Road and Peachtree Creek. Here you will find a mix of original bungalow, ranch, and cottage-style homes (many of which have been renovated) and traditional-style new construction homes. Wildwood was not developed until the 1930’s and 1940’s because it was hallowed ground in the Battle for Atlanta.

This is a wonderful and understandably popular neighborhood for families, as Wildwood is located in the sought-after Atlanta Public School district that includes Morris Brandon Elementary School, Sutton Middle School, and North Atlanta High School. Additionally, Wildwood is very close to Buckhead’s best private schools.
The ideal urban location is convenient to some of the best healthcare in Atlanta, Piedmont Hospital and Piedmont West Medical Office Park, home to Piedmont Hospital’s Cancer Center, a multi-specialty outpatient surgery center, medical imaging center, Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine, and Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, just to name a few. Also within walking distance you will find Publix, Rite-Aid, and a number of popular local restaurants. Additionally, The District at Howell Mill, a large retail/restaurant complex, is just a few blocks away, while Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, which offers everything from a hardware store to a furniture store to restaurants to clothing boutiques, is only a short drive down the road.
Even with these bustling shopping centers nearby, Wildwood can feel quiet and serene. Wildwood is home to 6.8 acre Beaverbrook Park, which features a playground, softball field, and creek. Just steps away on the other side of Howell Mill is Atlanta Memorial Park, a favorite of families and runners alike. Bobby Jones Golf Course and Bitsy Grant Tennis Center are also very close by.
