Have you been to the Atlanta Botanical Garden lately? I have lived here for quite a long time and I haven’t ever explored the gardens before. I was quite surprised how expansive the grounds are and how absolutely gorgeous every space is. When I was there, I felt like I wasn’t even in the city anymore. Plan on spending an afternoon there because it will take you some time to go through all the outdoor and indoor spaces. You can even grab a bite to eat!
Pictured above is the award-winning Levy Parterre Formal Garden. It is comprised of boxwood-edged beds arranged symmetrically around an Italian limestone fountain featuring artist Dale Chihuly’s dazzling blue and white glass sculpture. The day I went to visit was brilliantly sunny and the light coming through the sculpture was breathtaking. Click Here for More Photos & the Rest of the Feature
