Rory comes to real estate from a 15-year career in telecommunications engineering and project management. A native of Jamaica, Rory spent time in New York and Chicago before attending college at Alabama A&M University where he received his degree. He worked for Bellsouth and after moving to Atlanta, for a few small engineering groups that focused on telecom engineering. His project management experience is with a firm based in Huntsville that focused on providing telecommunications support to the military in Afghanistan and Iraq. Rory’s interest in real estate grew out of a fascination with the complexity and potential of real estate investments and support of his wife’s real estate career. As a true team player, a skill developed as a fraternity member, while playing high school and college football and through supporting a large team overseas, he brings patience, diligence and a competitive spirit to his real estate career. He focuses, with his wife Dietre, on Dekalb County, but serves their clients all over the Metro area.
Rory remains active in sports, another passion, by playing intramural flag football and lending his time to the Triumph Youth Soccer League in Tucker as a coach. Father to two young boys, he finds joy in helping and supporting the teams and sports that they participate in. He also spends time volunteering in many capacities at Smoke Rise Charter Elementary School in Dekalb County and enjoys being involved in his community.
