Just two years ago, luxury condo inventory stood at nearly nine years. Today, inventory has dropped by approximately 90 percent, from 5,000 units to 500. In the first half the year, 14 condos priced above $1 million sold — compared to nine new condo sales during all of 2011. The Atlanta marketplace is seeing a new demand from consumers who want to move intown and experience vertical living.
