Melanie Shaw is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she earned a B.A. in journalism with a concentration in public relations. Melanie began her career as a marketing specialist for an international construction firm based in Atlanta, and then later earned her master’s degree in secondary English education and taught in both Fulton and Forsyth County School Systems. After many years serving both clients and students and also buying and selling her own homes, Melanie discovered she’s passionate about helping clients navigate through the home buying and selling process. Melanie’s principal interest is for her clients to feel confident, secure, and excited about their experience; her positivity and devotion to clients’ needs ensure the highest level of customer service.
Melanie has lived in the Atlanta area for over 14 years and currently resides in Forsyth County with her husband, a native of Atlanta and businessman of Forsyth, and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, being physically active and connecting with friends. A fun fact about her is that if you look closely, you can spot her as a cheerleader in the film “We Are Marshall,” which was filmed in Atlanta. Melanie is a mentor through Forsyth County Schools and is an active member of Browns Bridge Church.
