As a highly involved public and community servant, Alan is keenly aware of the development and redevelopment trends and initiatives at the local and regional levels which impact the housing markets throughout Metro Atlanta. He has more than 15 years of experience helping clients during their transition from one home to another as they create new beginnings in their life.
Alan has over 28 years of professional experience and a diverse background in government, corporate, and small business environments. He was the Co-Founder, President and CEO of A New Beginning Estate Sale Company, a successful high-end estate sale and appraisal service. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Alan was a senior corporate manager for Home Depot. Alan also had a successful career as a Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, where he led several high-profile investigations and enjoyed assignments with the FBI, Secret Service and U.S. State Department.
Alan grew up in an Air Force family and lived in many places both domestically and internationally and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. He has been a Metro Atlanta resident for more than 25 years and is currently Vice Chairman of the Planning Commission for the City of Peachtree Corners. Alan is the Chairman of the Gwinnett County 2017-2022 SPLOST Project Selection Committee and serves on the boards of the Norcross High School Foundation, Artworks Gwinnett and the Peachtree Corners Business Association, where he is also the Director of Membership. He is a graduate of the Leadership Gwinnett class of 2015 and of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Community Planning Academy. He is active in a variety of organizations and programs that support our community and schools. Alan is married and a proud father of two young boys.
