Atlanta native Jennie Kushner was born and bred with real estate in her blood. The daughter of one of the city’s biggest commercial developers, Kushner had no idea her career path would turn to real estate until her mid-20s.
An alumna of Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Sandy Springs, Kushner attended the University of Alabama, where she majored in journalism. Graduating on the dean’s list, Kushner worked for the school and local newspapers throughout college and was a part of the Tuscaloosa News team who won a Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of the devastating 2011 tornado that killed many and injured hundreds.
Upon graduation, Kushner moved back to Atlanta where she had a short stint with Modern Luxury magazine and ultimately took a position with Northside Woman magazine, where she was Fashion Editor-in-Chief.
Her ambition and appetite for challenge aligned with her competitive spirit drove her to change career paths and obtain her real estate license. Three short years later, Kushner upped her credentials and earned her broker’s license, becoming one of the youngest brokers in Atlanta.
Motivated by the thrill of real estate and her consistent yearning for triumph, Kushner’s passion is driven by her upbeat approach and her devoted demeanor toward her clients. She believes real estate is not just selling a house, it’s selling a lifestyle. Aligned with her comprehensive background in writing, marketing and luxury lifestyle, Kushner utilizes all skillsets in her career to make her a success.
When she’s not working, Kushner is an avid artist who specializes in abstract acrylics on canvas. Many of her paintings hang in homes all around the South. Growing up on a large horse farm, Kushner’s off time is spent living the simple life in the country or watching Alabama football. She also volunteers at The Shepherd Center in Atlanta and is the mom to a St. Bernard, Hamilton, who weighs more than she does.
