Luck of the Irish
Starring Ryan Merriman and Timothy Omundson. This classic Disney Channel original movie follows the story of a popular junior high school basketball player named Kyle Johnson (Merriman) whose family’s lucky gold coin is stolen, causing him to revert to his true leprechaun form. Kyle then has to battle an evil leprechaun named Seamus (Omundson) in several traditional competitions to win back the coin!
P. S. I Love You
Starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler. A young widow, Holly Kennedy (Swank), discovers that her late Irish husband, Gerry (Butler), has left her 10 messages intended to help ease her pain and begin again, one of which includes a task to travel to Ireland where they met.
Brooklyn
Starring Saoirse Ronan and Emory Cohen. An Irish immigrant (Ronan) lands in 1950s Brooklyn, where she quickly falls in love with a young Italian local (Cohen). After a family tragedy in Ireland, she must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within.
Themed Games
Potato Bowling with Water Bottle Pins
Give each player a potato and six water bottles. Set the bottles up in bowling pin formation, then bowl the potato across the room to knock over the “pins”. The first player to knock them over a certain number of times, OR the player to knock them over the most times in one minute, is the winner!
Pot O’ Gold Coin Toss
Tape a large 6’x6′ square on the ground, and place a large pot in the middle of it. Players have to stand outside the square and bounce coins into the pot. The first person to land three coins inside wins!
Lucky Charms Marshmallow Minute-To-Win-It
Fill bowls with Lucky Charms cereal and have a corresponding empty bowl for each. Players will have one minute to scoop marshmallows out of the cereal and into the empty bowls using a spoon. The trick is, you can only hold the spoon in your mouth and cannot use your hands!
Scavenger Hunt

Green Pom Pom Basketball
This is an easy homemade game that is sure to entertain! All you need to do is cover a cereal box with green wrapping paper, cut the middle out of a green plastic cup and stick the cup to the box to form a “hoop”. Then, you can use fluffy green pom-poms as the “basketballs” to shoot for points.
