I hold a marketing degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and have an extensive background in advertising, sales, marketing and customer service, allowing me to market properties efficiently in a variety of ways. In 1996, my company brought me from Chicago to Sandy Springs. We looked at a multitude of homes and communities around Atlanta, and the experience has helped me empathize with the various challenges people face when relocating to a new city and lifestyle.
While I worked in the publishing industry, my husband built a sports photography business serving the metro Atlanta area. When I helped him, I had the opportunity to visit hundreds of different neighborhoods in Fulton, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Cobb and DeKalb counties, taking note of their unique features. In addition to my vast Atlanta neighborhood knowledge, I also have access to a professional photographer when photos are needed quickly.
My husband and I have raised four boys and are now close to becoming empty nesters. Over the years, I have volunteered at our local schools on PTA Boards, taught Sunday School for 15 years at our church, Dunwoody United Methodist, and assisted with FoodStock and Habitat for Humanity. I am also a regular donor to the American Red Cross and, because I was once an exchange student, volunteered with American Field Services to host exchange students in our home. Additionally, I am a member of the Atlanta Board of REALTORS®.
