Marie is a proud Georgia native who moved to East Cobb by way of Columbus, Georgia in 1992. She attended Pope High School, Kennesaw State University and then a few years of college in California. While out west, she realized that she could not imagine her home anywhere else and planted roots in the East Cobb area, where she now lives with her family.
Before her career in real estate, Marie owned and operated a successful commercial product photography studio in the Atlanta area for over 15 years. Marie also studied psychology for three years before pursuing a degree in commercial photography. Marie firmly believes that “All of these things have led [her] to [her] real estate career: psychology – working with people, photography – seeing what other people do not”.
Marie thoroughly enjoys a project and has remodeled every home that she has owned, as she loves the process of individualizing and truly making a home her own. Following the wise words of Confucius, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”, Marie loves working with people, has a strong work ethic and delivers this same enthusiasm and exemplary service in understanding her clients’ individual needs to help them find their forever homes. When she’s not busy looking at new listings, you can find her in the North Georgia mountains, where she loves to go mountain biking, kayaking, hiking or just exploring.
