Before dedicating her life to real estate, Mary Anne was a television news anchor for a decade and then an accomplished attorney. She still holds an active license to practice law in Georgia; although, she now sells real estate full time. Mary Anne has almost 20 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate, helping clients all over the metro Atlanta area. She owns multiple investment properties herself and is adept at helping not only primary homeowners but also investors realize their goals and dreams through real estate.
Mary Anne graduated from the University of Texas and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia. She is married to James Haverty Smith, an architect and fifth-generation Atlanta native. Their passion for travel and adventure led them to live in Dubai for two years, where Mary Anne taught real estate theory and practice to other real estate agents from around the world. She is dedicated to many charitable, artistic and civic causes and is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, the Atlanta Bar Association and Commercial Real Estate Women.
