I’m Lauren, a born and raised Georgia native. My father has been building custom homes in the Atlanta area for over 34 years, and my mother has an extremely successful 35-year real estate career. I think it’s safe to say that the housing industry is in my blood! My parents’ passion for finding and creating homes for families was contagious. At a young age, I began walking into homes, seeing potential through my father’s construction eye and envisioning the perfect buyer as my mother would. It was an adventure!
As a young adult, I began my career in teaching and ministry but always found myself helping others with their home searches on the side. I quickly found that my excitement and interest was more than just a fun hobby — I realized that I was good at it! My husband and I then moved and renovated multiple times in our first few years of marriage. I learned a lot about the buying and selling of a home, especially from the buyer’s perspective, which led to my decision to pursue real estate full time. I desire for families to experience what we experienced on a professional and personal level. Being a part of one of the biggest decisions in someone’s life is invigorating, and I am so honored to be a part of it!
Since I have lived in Atlanta for almost 34 years, I know our city and communities very well. My husband, children and I reside in North Atlanta, and we take full advantage of all that our city has to offer! As a self-proclaimed foodie, I frequent all of our amazing restaurants around the city, always on the hunt for new establishments! We are very involved in our community and immersed in all of its details.
I have the honor and privilege of joining alongside my mother, Sarah Wilkins, to form The Wilkins Group. She has received numerous accolades and awards during her 35-year career as an Atlanta REALTOR®. Her mentorship and guidance have gifted me with an unmatched skillset. The most important thing I have witnessed and adopted from my parents’ careers is that being honest, thorough and taking it personally is crucial.
