Becky’s family goes back six generations in Atlanta, and although she was born in Marietta and grew up in Cobb County, her Atlanta roots run deep! The house where her grandmother was born stood on the site that is now home to Centennial Olympic Park, her grandfather was born in a home on Peachtree Street and her great grandfather contributed to the gold dome on the Georgia State Capitol as a miner in the Dahlonega Gold Rush. Becky knows Atlanta! Some favorite childhood memories are holidays spent with family in Morningside, and visits to the Fox Theatre, the High Museum of Art and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Now an avid gardener and supporter of local museums and community theater, those early exposures made a distinct impression!
Another favorite pastime for Becky and her mom was touring local, new construction and open houses after church on Sundays, which fostered a love and appreciation for real estate and architecture. You can say that real estate was already in her blood from an early age! Becky also has a talent for design; projects she has contributed to have been published in Architectural Digest, Atlanta Magazine and the Charleston Home + Design Magazine. Becky can walk into a home and see all the current and future potential!
In 1996, Becky began working in the real estate division at a prominent Marietta law firm, where she honed her contract and real estate expertise from the legal side. Later transitioning to the role of REALTOR®, she worked for a leading Cobb County real estate firm, then held the role as a partial owner of another metro Atlanta brokerage firm for the last ten years. What Becky loves most about her profession is the relationship nature of the business and the ability to help others.
She believes luxury is not a price point but a level of service to be provided to every client. So, Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty is a natural fit!
Becky and her husband Ben, a Marietta native, have been married 23 years and attend Due West United Methodist Church. They have two boys, Christian and Peyton, and a sweet chow-lab rescue named Cooper, who is spoiled rotten! When she is not working, Becky enjoys gardening, oil painting, cheering on her Georgia Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium and family time spent on the river fly fishing. She loves to travel and tries to get to her other favorite city, Charleston, South Carolina, as often as possible!
