Dennis Santiago was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, where from an early age, he was taught the values of camaraderie, servitude and a never-ending pursuit of knowledge. Dennis earned his degree in finance from the Mayaguez Campus of the University of Puerto Rico. During his sophomore year, he answered his nation’s call, joined the United States Army Reserve and served as a financial management technician supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his deployment, he truly found the beauty of helping others when soldiers would constantly thank him for his assistance in correcting their pay issues while deployed.
Upon finishing his degree, Dennis moved to New Jersey with his wife Maria, with whom he shares two children – Adriana and Marcos. He began his career as a financial analyst working with the investment bank JPMorgan Chase. He went on to work with various other firms as a financial analyst for 10+ years and managed to acquire a breadth of knowledge in various aspects of the financial world. However, he always found the face-to-face interactions with peers and superiors the most fulfilling aspect of his job.
Chasing warmer weather, in 2015, Dennis and his wife Maria relocated to Atlanta, where their extended family currently resides. In 2018, Dennis decided to pursue a lifelong passion as he took the plunge into real estate. During his career as a REALTOR®, Dennis tried not to have clients but to make life-long friends. He follows the old precept that ”people don’t like to be sold but love to go shopping with a friend.” Dennis provides an environment so that clients know they can be in total comfort during the biggest purchase in their lives, knowing that he has their best interest at heart.
Dennis completed the REALTORS® Association’s Emerging Leaders class of 2020; his peers selected him to receive the Spaulding White award for outstanding leadership. In 2021, he vice-chaired the Social Committee, whose fundraiser raised over $21,000 for the Atlanta Children’s Shelter. In 2022, Dennis will chair the social committee, looking to raise funds for Covenant House Georgia. He has also accepted a nomination to serve on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta REALTORS® Association, becoming the association’s first-ever Latino board member.
Dennis lives in Gwinnett County, where he’s built a vast network of friends and associates that help him stay intimately in the know what’s happening in the county. However, he has knowledge and experience selling in Greater Atlanta as far west as Mableton, as far east as Athens, as far north as Cumming and as far south as College Park. Dennis will go wherever his clients are looking for.
During his time off, Dennis enjoys reading, spending time with his wife and kids or catching the occasional soccer match.
