As a sixth-generation Atlantan, Liam Heery offers a wealth of knowledge of the metropolitan area to benefit his clients in their pursuit to find the home that best matches their needs.
Liam continues a multi-generational legacy in architecture, development and real estate. His love for real estate was first nurtured by his grandfather, George T. Heery Sr., who would happily share historical and architectural details of the buildings they passed on family trips. Liam fondly remembers spending many hours with his grandfather at the office, pouring over architectural drawings and watching his grandfather’s passion for fulfilling the needs of his clients. This passion has stayed with Liam and was further deepened during internships with his father, which broadened Liam’s horizon and provided first-hand knowledge about the day-to-day workings of the real estate industry.
From his career as a trained actor, Liam brings a love for connecting with people and creating strong bonds with the clients he works with. Trust, integrity and exceptional service are his top priorities in any interaction, always approaching sales or purchases with the client’s best interest in mind.
Last year, Liam moved into a beautifully restored 118-year-old Craftsman home in Egan Park, where you can often see him walking his trusted canine friend Kovu around the neighborhood. He quickly immersed himself in his new tight-knit community and was elected President of the Egan Park Neighborhood Association in January 2022.
Building on his German-American heritage and his fluency in the German language, Liam has enjoyed traveling to many countries around the world, experiencing diverse cultures and beautiful landscapes alike. Having attended the Atlanta International School for 14 years, Liam is deeply rooted in the international community in Atlanta, happy to support newcomers with advice about housing, education and the best places to find authentic food.
In his spare time, Liam enjoys volunteering for Atlanta Lab Rescue, an organization that rescues Labrador Retrievers and large breed mixes from overwhelmed shelters and abusive situations and places them in secure, loving homes.
Liam is excited to join his father and uncle as he becomes part of the award-winning Heery Brothers team.
