Creativity. Commitment. Enterprise. Service. In a multi-passionate career that includes 11 years in corporate finance and 14 years in fashion design, these are the qualities that have allowed Octavius to make a habit of success.
His interest and passion for real estate began when his family lost their home while he was studying at Georgia Tech. As the first person in his family to go to college, he believed in the power of knowledge, and the desire to help motivated him to go into finance and business to learn all he could about how to build wealth and security. His proudest moment happened 15 years ago when he took his parents on what they thought was simply a fun outing to look at different houses, finally showing them their dream home and the buying power they didn’t know they had. They still live there today! Their happiness at that moment is why Octavius is passionate about continuing to create generational wealth and helping people discover creative ways to find their dream home because he believes homeownership is for everyone. It doesn’t have to be just a dream for you!
He has a gift for cultivating relationships and connecting with people that, combined with business experience and creative sensibility, make him uniquely suited to the world of luxury real estate. He’s polished these skills throughout his time in corporate finance as a Wealth Management Relationship Manager for Wells Fargo and his entrepreneurial ventures in fashion design. Most recently, he was the Co-Founder and Lead Designer for GROOM, a men’s ready-to-wear brand now known as Octavius Marsion. He has created designs for many celebrities, including Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Mark Ballas, and his designs have been featured on the red carpets of the Academy Awards, the Grammys and The American Music Awards.
A native son of Atlanta, Octavius works mostly in Brookhaven, Summerhill, Sandy Springs and within The Perimeter; however, he is familiar with all aspects of Georgia real estate. He believes in the power of relationships, delivering exceptional service and treating people well, and when you work with him, he brings every bit of his business experience, creativity and local knowledge to the buying and selling process. He enjoys the opportunities that real estate gives him to use his entire skillset while helping others navigate this experience!
As the former Fashion Program Chair for The Art Institutes, Octavius serves as a mentor to graduates in an unofficial capacity and occasionally delivers talks to students around the country. When he’s not working with clients, he continues to serve as a celebrity fashion designer to the stars.
