Born in Flint, Michigan, David was always drawn to creative occupations that allowed him to work with people. He gained nearly a decade of experience building houses with his best friend before obtaining a degree in education from Lee University. After relocating to Atlanta, he served students, parents and teachers in Gwinnett County for 12 years as a teacher and assistant principal and five years as a middle school principal at Perimeter School in Johns Creek before transitioning into full-time real estate.
Known for his ability to build community and form meaningful connections, David possesses an in-depth understanding of how to be present with clients at every stage of the buying and selling process. From negotiating a win for everyone at the closing table to providing resources beyond the transaction, he excels at taking the time to understand the crux of a question and identify strengths as well as areas for improvement so that each move is made from a place of strength. Clients trust him not only because they know him but because he truly knows them. Well-versed in all aspects of Georgia real estate, he enjoys helping clients with a wide variety of needs—from first-time homebuyers to those looking to downsize or invest in a second home—find the right fit.
Active in his community, David enjoys mentoring men and serves as an elder in his local church. He is a member of the Southwest Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and lives in Buford with his wife, three boys (ages 15, 12 and 8) and two dogs (an Australian labradoodle and a golden retriever). When he’s not working with clients, he enjoys coaching lacrosse, attending concerts, shows and Braves games, visiting the Hyde Museum with his wife and exploring Atlanta’s food scene.
