Helen Kacur- Welcome to the Intown Office!

Helen Kacur has joined our Intown office as a licensed REALTOR®.

With the non-stop schedules we have today, finding time for all the research, legal and financing decisions necessary to buy or sell your home can be challenging. With continued transformations in the economy, combined with new neighborhoods and changing attitudes of where people want to live and work in Atlanta, it takes a lot to put the pieces together for a successful real estate transaction.

Before I became a REALTOR®, more than a decade ago, I had typical personal experience in buying my first home and later in buying and selling other properties. As a professional woman (I was a sales rep for Herman Miller in the commercial office furniture business) I believed that I could easily manage the process. I quickly realized the necessity of partnering with someone experienced who focused on real estate every day. I also learned how important the personal connection is in working with a REALTOR® who is a strong advocate as well as a trusted sounding board for one of the most important decisions you can make.

That is the foundation of my approach — to bring my experience, knowledge and negotiating skills along with my best counsel tailored to your situation to help you make the right choices. As a former design and space planner for Ethan Allen home furnishings, I can also help best stage and market your home for sale. I am familiar with current home renovation trends and can help you evaluate the best value and pricing for new, older or renovated properties.

I moved to Atlanta in 1998 after living in Denver and Los Angeles. My husband, Petro, and I have a home in the Piedmont Heights neighborhood near Morningside and Ansley Park. We enjoy living Intown and experiencing all that Atlanta has to offer. I am a native of Ohio where I grew up in a big, Greek, restaurant-owning family who I am still close to. As a college football fan, I root for my alma mater – The Ohio State University, where I studied marketing and business.

I also believe in giving back, especially in the community where I live. I have supported or volunteered with many organizations including the Ronald McDonald House, Penelope House shelter for women and children, the meal center administered by St. John the Wonderworker church in Grant Park and participated in the Ovarian Cycle ride to raise funds for cancer research. I also serve on the board of my homeowners association.

Every fall I look forward to volunteering with my family at the Atlanta Greek Festival.
