Here’s an update on the proposed Soccer Complex for North Fulton from the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
The U.S. Representatives of the Brazilian soccer club Cruzeiro, whom are planning on developing the project, said that their representative had just returned from Brazil. The group is moving forward with their plans and indicated that the President of Cruzeiro is scheduled to be back in North Fulton in late July.
Cruizeiro, a famous Brazilian soccer brand, is committed to brining soccer to the North Fulton market.
The club is still interested in the Prospect Park site, but they are exploring other alternative sites. The club is committed to bring their brand to North Fulton as their market studies point to our area as the hot spot for youth soccer and fits their objectives.
And more regarding Prospect Park site itself: The Bank (Wells Fargo) has listed the property with a Commercial Broker whom is soliciting offers, although there may be some legal issues pending.
