Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty recently worked with Nike to host an event at the firm’s $12.5 million listing in Windham, NY.
For the last two winters Nike has invited high profile editors to a series of “Nike 360 Editor Events” promoting their Spring/Summer apparel while incorporating celebrity athletes. For their final 360 event of 2011, the selected the Windham listing to showcase their 6.0 line. the firm worked with Nike to transform the home into the Nike Snowboarding team’s house, making it look like Nike athletes lived and trained at Windham Mountain.
The event was held March 11, and Nike flew by helicopter 15 top women’s magazine editors including Vogue, W, Fitness, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, NBC Today, Self Magazine, Seventeen, Women’s Health, and Bloomberg Business Week to the listing, where they staged a Nike product demo, held a Q&A forum and reception.
The six-bedroom, hand-crafted, 15,000 square foot home was created by Pioneer Log Homes of Montana. The home was staged like a gallery to play on the Sotheby’s name, highlighting and explaining the unique feathers of the home. For more information click HERE.
