Leigh Massey, Relocation Director at Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, has been chosen to be President of The Metro Atlanta Relocation Council (MARC) for 2013 . With savvy matchmaking skills, Leigh unites future home buyers with an experienced agent and oversees the managed move business. With over a decade of experience, Leigh brings a unique appreciation for and understanding of the industry, having interacted with all members of managed move transactions, including transferees, employers, real estate service providers, and relocation management companies and will serve MARC well.
MARC is the regional trade group for the relocation industry. MARC provides professionals in the relocation industry a platform to meet and work together. They share their knowledge and experiences with one another about current relocation practices and emerging relocation issues with a focus to better serve and address the unique and various needs of employees and their families who are relocating.
In addition to professional events, MARC is also committed to giving back to the community through service days the Atlanta Community Food Bank, toy drives for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and an annual scholarship program for high school seniors.
