Barbara Oliver is a true Southern lady with a personal style and professional dedication all her own. Boasting more than 30 years of real estate experience, she has established a reputation of success that continues to set the pace and elevate the standard of service in the Atlanta real estate market.
Barbara credits her success to her tireless energy and ability to maintain focus on desired outcomes. “I feel a commitment to clients and go the extra mile on their behalf,” she says. “My greatest reward come when all parties leave the closing table happy.”
Barbara has been honored several times by the Atlanta REALTORS® Association during her career – in 2016, she was awarded the sought-after Gold Phoenix Award, denoting 30 years as a Top Producer and member of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association Top Producers. Additionally, she was recognized as a Top 20 Residential Real Estate Agent nine times between 1989 and 2005.
She has also been named one of Atlanta’s Top 100 Agents by Communities Magazine for 14 years, and in 2003, was awarded the Golden Circle Award. The National Association of Home Builders has also recognized Barbara, awarding her the Gold Award for $5 million in sales volume.
Before joining Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, Barbara was the top agent at her previous brokerage eight out of 11 years. She was recognized as one of the Top 20 Team I Divisions on the Atlanta REALTORS® Association Top Producers in 2005, and in 2006, she was No. 25 in the City of Atlanta for individual achievement. In 2003 and 2005, Barbara received the Customer Service Award given by Jenny Pruitt & Associates, as well as Sales Agent of the Year in 2004 with the most units listed.
An Atlanta native, Barbara grew up in Buckhead, but has called Sandy Springs home for more than 46 years. She is an active member of the Sandy Springs Society and Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. She also serves as Vice President of the Alyssum Garden Club. Barbara has always adored tennis, golf, playing bridge, boating at Lake Lanier and vacationing on the Florida beaches when time allows. Barbara and her husband, Bill, have been happily married since their college years together. They have raised four successful children and are proud grandparents of three grandchildren.
