After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in business administration, Whit worked for The Home Depot in supply chain and inventory management. While providing exceptional operational support, he realized he enjoyed the relational side of the job more, building trust while anticipating issues before they turned into larger complications. He also worked as a management consultant, honing his skills in bringing order and customer-focused solutions to fast-paced, hectic processes before making a choice to transition to real estate.
His experience and skill in aligning the goals of groups with competing priorities—taking the time to listen to the needs of each individual so that everyone walks away feeling heard and understood—proves invaluable to his clients in a negotiation. With a measured, direct style, Whit works to disarm emotions and make sure his clients are taken care of throughout each step in the buying and selling process.
A large part of his passion for real estate lies in his love of design and architecture, and after personally undertaking a home renovation with his wife, he is extremely appreciative of the challenges that homeowners face while preparing to sell. Currently a resident of Serenbe, Whit is a Georgia native raised in the Johns Creek area. Well-versed in all aspects of Georgia real estate, he goes wherever his client’s needs take him. He loves the area for its proximity to the best of both worlds—the quiet of nature and the convenience of the city—and when he’s not working with clients, he enjoys outdoor activities like mountain biking and spending time with neighbors and friends.
